Exemptions & Orders
Research, track, and submit exemption applications and orders.
Exempt Distribution
Quickly and accurately, file an exempt distribution report, Schedules 1 and 2 and accompanying documents. Filer should grant another person access to reports and make payment online using a credit card or electronic funds transfer. A filer can also find and review exempt distribution reports and offering memorandums.
Issuers are required to file reports of exempt distribution and pay the related fees electronically using the BCSC eServices. An investment fund filing a Form 45-106F1 on an annual basis has the option to submit payment by cheque instead of paying electronically. For more information, see BCI 13-502 Electronic filing of reports of exempt distribution and related Companion Policy 13-502CP.
Form 45-106F1 and related policies were amended effective October 5, 2018.
Exempt Sales Filing
Quickly and accurately submit exempt sales reports under the dealer registration exemption for capital raising. Exempt sales reports are required for persons who rely on blanket orders in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territory entitled Registration exemption for trades in connection with certain prospectus-exempt distributions. You may print out your submission or save it in PDF version.
