Exemptions & Orders

Research, track, and submit exemption applications and orders. Applications for exemptive relief from issuer regulations must be filed on SEDAR+. You can find exemption orders issued on applications filed on SEDAR+ here.

Exempt Distribution

To file a report of exempt distribution, go to SEDAR+. For further information contact the CSA Service Desk at 1-800-219-5381 or [email protected].

Issuers are required to file reports of exempt distribution and pay the related fees electronically. An investment fund filing a Form 45-106F1 on an annual basis must also use SEDAR+.

Exempt Sales Filing

Quickly and accurately submit exempt sales reports under the dealer registration exemption for capital raising. Exempt sales reports are required for persons who rely on blanket orders in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territory entitled Registration exemption for trades in connection with certain prospectus-exempt distributions. You may print out your submission or save it in PDF version.

OTC Trading

Quickly and accurately file your quarterly report (Form B) required under condition 3 of BC Instrument 33-705 Conditions of Registration for Investment Dealers that Trade in the U.S. Over-the-Counter Markets. You may print out your submission or save it in PDF version.
